Law enforcement and local education agencies have a long history of partnering together for the safety of students.  Strong relationships have strengthened the ability of both agencies to prepare for and respond to criminal and/or threatening incidents that occur in school settings.

School resource officer programs provide the crucial link between school districts and law enforcement agencies in their continued efforts to establish and maintain secure and safe learning environments.

The Robertson County Sheriff’s Office School Resource Officer Division works in a cooperative effort with the Robertson County School System’s administrators, faculty, staff, students, and parents; Juvenile Court; community leaders; and other public services for a common goal of providing a safe and secure atmosphere that is conducive to learning.

Through education and enforcement, the SRO Division strives to hold juveniles responsible for their actions and prevent individual acts from becoming a pattern of delinquency.
